Jean-Claude Van Damme


Jean-Claude Van Varenberg (born 18 October 1960), professionally known as Jean-Claude Van Damme and abbreviated to JCVD, is a Belgian actor, martial artist, screenwriter, film producer and director best known for his martial-arts action films.

He is also a character whose gaffes and provocative or eccentric statements have often landed him in trouble. However, he remains a unique personality, much loved by Belgians. Whenever he travels to Brussels, he always eats at “Chez Léon”.
